Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Mechanics are responsible for the installation, service and maintenance of Industrial Commercial and Institutional Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) equipment and piping. They work on any system that heats, cools or freezes as well as conditions air. Overhauling, repairing, testing and adjusting systems are also a major part of the work.
