The Centre for Marine Training and Research is housed within the Owen Sound Campus of Georgian College. Boasting an $8.4 million marine simulation facility and a new $7 million marine emergency duties training facility Georgian College has been providing first class, high tech marine education and training for over 40 years. Our Transport Canada approved programs include comprehensive education and co-operative training on board Canadian and international merchant ships. Articulation agreements with other universities in Canada and USA are also available leading to maritime related degrees.
