The CSCB, Canada’s foremost educator on Customs and border issues, offers an Introduction to Customs and Border Procedures course, a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation program, a Certified Trade Compliance Specialist (CTCS) designation program, and modules on specialized international trade subjects. The Introduction to Customs course provides basic information about the Canadian import-export process and is ideal for someone considering employment or newly employed in the field. Work experience or equivalent is a prerequisite for the CCS and CTCS courses; there are no prerequisites for enrolment in the Introduction to Customs and Border Procedures course or the specialized modules. All are offered through online education.
